PERSONALITY

Lisa Silverman is an avid fan of Bruce Lee and martial arts, kung fu being her main style in physical combat. She often uses moves she's seen Bruce Lee do too.

She is one of the more popular girls at her school in her canon. Contrary to her appearance, Lisa actually tends to be more suspicious of those she doesn't know and tends to act haughty around them. It is mainly thanks to the xenophobia and bullying she faced in her younger years due to her being an American girl who acts fully Japanese. It is not her own fault but the fault of her father's, raising her in Japan to be a proper Japanese lady. Despite that, she doesn't act like that at all. Her relationship is very rocky with him and she often uses Cantonese phrases within her sentences to rebel against him.

Lisa doesn't understand a lick of English thanks to her upbringing and gets really annoyed when people assume that she does. Assumptions in general towards her make her mad as well, also an effect of the bullying she faced when she was younger. Because of her bullying, Lisa also has self esteem issues. Her crush on Tatsuya Suou was mainly because he was so cool. Cool enough to make her look good. Speaking of crushes, Lisa is very obvious about her feelings on these kinds of things. Even as a child, she was never subtle about her romantic feelings. She generally turns on the cutesy charms all the way up to 11 when around them. With people she knows, Lisa's brighter personally tends to shine through. Though she often butts heads with those who think they are better than her and have a huge ego.
